Site Updates/Upcoming Events17-20 May 2012: New Brunswick Chito-Ryu Association will be hosting an Higashi Sensei Clinic at New Maryland and Fredericton area. Please open Higashi Sensei link for details and locations. Thursday evening and all day Friday classes will be for kobujutsu training so bring your bo, sai, tonfa, nunchaku, kama, and any other kobujutsu training tools. Saturday and Sunday class will be for Chito-Ryu training therefore bring your bo and sai. Note: Clinic is free for NSCRA members.
The 2012 Chito Ryu Karate Championships are just around the corner. Put the date of August 2nd-5th, 2012 in your calendar now and start training for the competition in Toronto, Canada. Register today!
![]() Mark Doubleday Jr. 09 Apr 2012: Congratulations to Mark Doubleday Jr. in his performance at the Karate Canada Nationals. He represented the NSCRA and his home dojo of Ken Sen Kan Karate Dojo very well winning silver in his 17-18 heavyweight division and bronze as a member of the junior mens kumite team.
14-15 Apr 2012: Prince Edward Island Chito-Ryu Association will be hosting an Higashi Sensei Clinic at Westwood Primary School, 80 Meadowbank Road, Cornwall, PE on Saturday and at Charlottetown Martial Arts Club, 40 Enman Crescent, Charlottetown, PE on Sunday morning. Please bring your bo and sai during the weekend.
![]() Mark Doubleday Jr. 09 Mar 2012: Mark Doubleday Jr. is a member of the Ken Sen Kan Karate Dojo and has earned a birth on the Nova Scotia Karate Team. From March 16 - 18, 2012 Mark will be in Richmond BC representing our province and the NSCRA at the Karate Canada Nationals where he will be competing in Kumite (male 16 - 17 division). Mark was also successful at the Atlantic Karate Championships on February 11th, 2012 in Charlottetown PEI where he won a silver medal in the male 16 - 17 open weight kumite division. Mark has been training hard and we all wish him the best of luck! 19 Nov 2011: The Nova Scotia Chito-Ryu Association held it's Annual General Meeting at the AKC in Halifax after the Yudansha clinic held on November 19th, 2011 at the Atlantic Karate Club
