19 Nov 2011: The Nova Scotia Chito-Ryu Association held it's Annual General Meeting at the AKC in Halifax after the Yudansha clinic held on November 19th, 2011 at the Atlantic Karate Club

25-27 Nov 2011: New Brunswick Chito-Ryu Association will be hosting an Higashi Sensei clinic at New Maryland, NB. Please bring your bo and sai.

3 Dec 2011: Atlantic Karate Club will be hosting AKC Invitional Tournament for all NSCRA junior karateka members (Ages 5 to 15). The club is located on 14 Purcell's Cove Rd, Halifax, NS. Doors open at 9:00am. Cost is $10.00 per event. Team Kata is free if you register for one of the events.Chito-Ryu Tournament Rules in effect including appropriate protective gear. 1 May 2011: Noah Horton from the New Glasgow Karate Club saw the presentation and fund-raising being done by the Japanese Society of Nova Scotia at the Spring Higashi Sensei Clinic and took it to heart and started fund-raising in his community.
